South Central Power Company Announces Senior Staff Change and Promotion

With the retirement of Becky Witt, South Central Power’s CFO since 2013 coming in early January, Rick Lemonds, president & CEO, announced Allison Saffle will assume the role of CFO. Saffle, who most recently served as vice president of strategy and special projects and previously as vice president of member services, is a CPA and brings more than 20 years of finance, accounting and billing experience to the role. She will retain oversight of strategic planning and execution and will also oversee billing, finance, information technology and the procurement/warehousing teams.

Additionally, Lemonds announced Amy Palmer, who served most recently as human resources manager, was promoted to vice president of Human Resources. Amy, who joined the cooperative in 2009, oversees a team responsible for recruiting, payroll and benefits, as well as additional responsibilities as the cooperative continues to grow by adding meters and launching an ISP business.

“Please join me in congratulating Allison and Amy, as well as wishing Becky all the best in her retirement,” Lemonds said.
